Well everyone the latest forecast from NOAA is turning slightly in our favor. Mostly cloudy with 7 to 9 mile an hour winds and a high of 40f. No precipitation till Sat. night. So there is no excuse short of DIEING not to show up. As our fearless leader says IT WILL BE GLORIOUS............beat that drum Radio beat that drum!

Well, All I can say is I had a great time. I Enjoyed meeting the members that showed up. I just wish the fish would have been biting more than they where. Thanks again and can not wait for the next event I am able to attend.

Sounds like you guys had a good time, I wish I could have been there. Flew all over the place today and up early to do it again tomorrow. Heard trout king was trolling! Were you methane powered?

JC you would have loved it. I think Troutking took the blunt of the ribbing (my apologies Don) but he did his share of giving it back. The fishing was a little sloe but the weather was brutal. Yes it was a typical opener with good coffee frozen donuts and lots of laughs. If the opener is any indication this is going to be one heck of a year for TFF. My thanks to Radio and everyone who pitched in and a big welcome to our new members who came.

Brutal is putting it nicely. Ya know it's cold when you're fly line doesn't lay flat in the bottom of the boat but stands up like someone trying to wrap up barbed wire! But as always I had a blast, was worth every shivvvvvver. Congrats Trout King, you once again proved you're name correct! Great Job President Newlon and all the others that helped put this event together. Was great to see 2 new faces from our friends at Indy Fly Casters show up and take part! Looking forward to another great year fishin with all you guys! Krebsie

Dito Krebsie, It definitely was a cold one, I think I spent more time trying to get the Ice out of my fly rod eyes than fishing. Still had a great time, Congrats to Trout King! Ray

Thanks for the kudos on catching the only trout of the day. If Krebsie hadn't agreed to go out one more time I would have missed that little guy. So a big thank you goes out to Krebsie. It was such a great time out there with TFF members. What a great organization of kidders and smart asses. I wouldn't have it any other way!
Maybe we should plan on a Season Opener Reprise sometime within the next two/three weeks...
Don.
