Wow! Jay S. and I just came back from a short float on the Tippy. and boy did we have fun. We started at S.R. 18 and floated and wadded just down to Bicycle Bridge Rd. We got into several smallies and a couple of very nice ones. Just as we put the canoe in the water we started get bass where the feeder stream comes in just south of the S.R. 18 bridge on the west side of the river (if you do this trip anchor here a while it's worth it). We then picked up some more when we got out and wadded at the first island. Finally we stopped just north of the bridge at Bicycle Bridge Rd. and worked the islands there really hard and was rewarded with some nice smallies. The color of the day was WHITE! Tim's deer head streamer and white woolly buggers were on the money. I was fishing an interment sinking streamer set up 7wt, Jay 4wt floating rig both where working well if we were throwing .......may I remind you WHITE!!!!
Fall is just around the corner tie streamers and have fun! tight lines barryl

No we were too busy fishing, but it looks like you did OK on the Wildcat. I love it when a plan comes together!
