Hey folks -
My scout troop will be fishing the weekend of Oct.22-24.
I am looking for a handfull of Fyl Fishers that are willing to help teach some young lads how to fly fish. The age group is between 11 and 18. Although I am sure there might be an adult or two that also might be interested.
We will be fishing on private ponds betweeen Delphi and Brookston. We will plan on having a fish fry Saturday evening.
We did this about 16 months ago. Dustin, Rick, and Dave McCullough all helped out last time. We had a great time and caugh a bunch of fish. How many fish Les? Well we cleaned enough bluegill to have a 5 gallon bucket full of guts!

I think I'm doing some marching band volunteer work that day, not sure yet. If I can possibly be there I'm there!

So as an update I need four guys that are willing and can teach kids that have never fly fished before. I am not sure what time we are starting at the moment. Lunch and supper will be provided for any of those that help. Right now I know Dave McCullough is helping. Rick are you still interested? What about the rest of you? Any takers?

On other thing. There is part of the Fly Fishing Meritbadgebthat requires the scout to tie flies. We are look at the evening of Dec. 17. Starting around 7 pm in the main lodge at Camp Cullom, which is between Mulberry and Frankfort.
