The theme this month is big ugly streamers and steelhead flies. Does anyone have any suggestions or requests?

We had a good turnout at fly tying last Thursday night. Unfortunately all we did was demonstrate flies. No one else got to tie anything. Barryl brought over his new Tuffl-eye system and demonstrated how to tie some popvich patterns like the surf candy. The original pattern was tied using epoxy. This Tuffl-eye stuff stays flexible. Really neat demo. The system uses blue light to cure the resins.  Surf Candy  Forgot what this one was called but I think it was a salmon pattern.   Some Krebs popper heads and the Tuffl-eye material.  |

My my...what a bunch of grown men and a tube of copolymer can do! Looks cool guys...sorry I missed it...was on vacation...where the gills were hitting on my dinky Clousers, Christmas Buggers and those little bunny strip things Dave138 ties. Good times but wish I could have been tying with y'all!
