Hello TFFers,
Our next event is fly tying this Thursday 6pm at St Andrews. There has been talk of tying flies for casting for recovery but I have not heard anymore about it.
Reelteacher have there been any requests for specific flies from CFR?
Does anyone have a specific fly they would like to see demonstrated? I may go down to flymasters this week to pick up some stuff so let me know so I can pick up any materials we might need.

I went down to Flymasters and picked up supplies to tie pink poppers for Casting for Recovery. We had the foam donated to us by All Seasons Sports. A great source of popper foam. The only thing I forgot to pick up was red or pink thread. So if you have some red or pink thread bring it along. I have everything else we will need for pink popper mania. See you tomorrow night!

No need to bring any pink foam Radio. I'm guessing I have over 300 heads already cut and ready to tie.

I have some pink "real" hair from a CFR fund raiser I can bring. I am new and have nothing else to add to the mix.I am a past CFR fisher and am looking forward to tonight.

It was great to meet you yesterday Pinkmidge. Thanks for painting the pink ribbons on the poppers they look great. I had a great time tying last night. It was a relaxed evening with good people tying for a good cause. We tied a total of 40 flies for Casting For Recovery!! I painted eyes on all the poppers this morning and they should be fully dry by the end of the day. We voted that Reelteacher will present the flies to CFR in honor of Judy Gallagher.
