I wish I had been there for the clinic yesterday. It looked like people had a good time and we got three new members! Thank you Radio, Krebs, Phishphinder, Tmoran and Riverman for putting this together. What a great lake that was. Wouldn't it be nice if the club had something like that. Do we have any billionaires in the club that need a tax write off? Even though I missed the most of the day and people were heading home when I got there I had one of the best fishing experiences of my life with a true friend. Krebs paddled me around as I pounded the bank with poppers and first cast flies in search of bass. I hooked three and landed two. The experience totally reminded me of fishing in the everglades for snook. I cannot wait to go there with Krebs and catch my first large tarpon. Thank you for yesterday Krebs I didn't realize how much I needed that.

Sometimes you get in to a situation when you think that life just can't get any better! Your doing something you love, and the troubles and concerns of life are just the farthest thing from your mind! Well that's how yesterday went for me! Watching our members and guests, smile, laugh, learn, tell stories, catch fish, and did I mention laugh and catch fish! Twas an awesome day, is about all I can say! Many thanks to John Clanton and Gary Newlon for all your hard work putting this day together! Dave McCullough for teaching the casting classes. Bob McKinnis for doing the grilling, Tom Moran for making all the arrangements for us to be able to have the clinic at Rainey Brook Lake, and all the other thing people did to make this day happen! Above is a pic of our Casting Instructor Dave McCullough, with a beautiful bass. Didn't get a pic of all the crappies dave caught. Below is a nice Crappie that took my new Crappie Killer fly. Design stolen from Dave Hosler! Thanks Dave. Probably one of the most memorable things that happened was a fly over by the Clanton. "WOW" that was freekin awesome! Then watching John make an unbelievably long and accurate cast to a stump that I knew had two huge bass right under it, then having one of the lock jawed monsters explode on his popper,,,, just absolutely,,,, awesome! Great Job everyone! Can't wait for next years clinic! Krebsie

Sounds like the Clinic was a great time. Sorry I missed it, but the trout in Wisconsin were calling.
