Nymphs and trout are the theme for March. With Westover farms as a possible trip for the club this year why not get the ball rolling with some little bugs. We will be demonstrating the Red Ass Soft Hackle, Partridge and Orange and a Prince Nymph. The Red Ass Soft Hackle. Hook: TMC 200R #14 Thread: red 6-0 Uni-thread Butt: Red Uni-thread spun flat Body: Peacock herl twisted with copper wire Hackle: Hungarian Partridge Head: Red Uni-thread The Partridge and Orange. Mustad S82 size 16-20 3/32" Brass bead 6/0 or 8/0 Orange uni thread Orange floss Burnt Orange or hares ear dubbing Partridge or hen hackle. The Bead Head Prince Nymph. Mustad R72 2XH 2XL for non bead head size 8-16 3XL for bead head 5/32" gold bead for size 10 hook 2 Brown Goose biots for tail Round Medium Gold tinsel 3 or 4 Peacock herls Brown hackle 2 broad white biots for wings

We are also going to start a beginner course along with the flies that everyone is tying. I will be doing the first one this month. So If anyone wants to learn the basic tools/techniques... and learn the wooly bugger, feel free to come and join reguardless what your skill level is. Krebsie
