Back from Chokoloskee Fl. Had a great trip. Weather was unseasonably HOT 95 deg. + every day till Sunday. Then we woke up to 25mph East wind and 51 deg. Burrrrr!! Started fishing on Tuesday afternoon and managed to catch a 27" Snook on the 3rd cast of the trip! Wed. we fished with Capt. Kevin Mihailoff and had a terrific day. I caught 2 Red Fish right off the bat, both were around 24"- 26", And for the day between Barry and myself we landed around 25 good snook from 20" to 24" all on my poppers! Cool!! Didn't have time to take pictures, as one of us was landing a fish the other was already casting for the next. But I did manage to get a photo of the 27"er and one of the 2 26"ers I caught. Thursday through Sunday was hit or miss although we did manage to land several Snook each day. Then there was Black Monday. Didn't even get a swirl all day long! But that's fishing no mater where you go! Was a great trip and ready to go again!! Sorry for the small pictures but cant seem to get photo bucket to work right!
