Radio;
Well, actually, I've been fishing Idaho (Henry's Fork, Silver Creek), Montana (Gallatin River, Specimen & Cougar Creeks), Wyoming (Firehole, Gibbon, Madison) and Wisconsin (Timber Coulee). I'll tell ya it's just a bit different to be fishing and have a HUGE bison bull walk past you at about 50 feet or elk feed by at about the same range!
Nothing over 20" but I caught a ton of wild fish and only got shut out on one river (Idaho's Henry's Fork - I only had about an hour and a half to fish it).
One sad note. Today, I was fishing on the Timber Coulee in Wisconsin and saw a brownie that measured 30" by my rod, just dumped on the ground by the road. I'm guessing some jerk caught that brute and when he got back to the road noticed that the regulations printed by the access site said 5 fish limit - all MUST be under 12". So, he/she just threw it down. What a shame. A needless, pathetic waste. If I'd caught that monster, I would have quickly measured it, taken a picture for a replica mount and turned it loose. Then, I would have worn that 30" brown as a necklace for the rest of my life! I am a confirmed catch and release guy; but even if they had killed it to eat, that would have been at least something. But, to see a trophy like that laying in a ditch by a dirt road is a sad, sad sight to see.
I'll be back in Indiana in another day and I hope to post at least a few pic's (if I can get my man Trent to post 'em).
Pat

Hi Pastor,
Sounds like you have been fishing a lot on your vacation. All vacations should be like that! Can't wait to see the pictures. Have a safe drive home. Sad to hear about that brown.

Ok Barry What were you drinking? Or smoking? Maybe you had been watching to much of the Emperor's New Groove the night before? I can just see you standing on the bank thinking "Look at me and my bad self" Or yelling "Eezma, put your hands in the air" or maybe Eezma was riding the lama that swam by yelling "Barry, put your fly in the air" Ha Ha Snort Snort Oh yes I own a copy of that movie although I've seen it a 1000 times I've never seen Barry in it! Maybe his real name is Kronk!

Hi everyone,
I am back from my trip to Utah (got back last week, actually, but busy catching up since then).
I fished the Strawberry and and Duchene Rivers and a few private still waters. Had a spectacular time in an incredibly beautiful part of the country. I did manage to catch (and land!) a 21 inch brown trout, which was absolutely thrilling!!!
