Hello All,
I'm going camping with my wife this weekend at the Tippecanoe River State Park and planning a float trip in the canoe. The USGS says the Winimac height gauge is up from 3.5 ft to almost 6ft and flow went from 300fps to 1100fps. The gauge upstream at Ora went from 5.2ft to 8.65ft and is just below the "Action" stage. I know I will see the conditions when I get there but anyone have any words of wisdom. I'm going to call the canoe rental place that is providing livery for us and see if they are renting.
Thanks, John

Be careful! Should be a great weekend for camping provided you stay dry.
Are you trying to figure out if the river is moving too fast to float?

Yes. I wanted to float from the canoe camp to van meter park where I could get livery.
