We have hit 50 members here on the boards. I hope everyone is still enjoying the conversations that are taking place here.
I look forward to the next 50.

Wahoo! The first 50's the hardest! ;D
The board conversation has slowed down quite a bit. I HOPE that's because people are actually out fishing!

It is a fly imitating the nymphal stage of the gnat or "nwhat"
You have to tie them on a size 56 and fish them only with a 0.25 weight rod and 28x tippet.
An electron microscope may be required to tie them on streamside. If you've ever tried to wade upstream with an electron microscope in your vest, you know how burdensome this can be.

I've noticed a slack in traffic as well. I've been busy so not fishing so nothing really to contribute. Have been doing a lot of lawn casting but no tying. Got my desk all taken apart. Hope to get back to the water soon IF IT EVER DROPS!

We've all heard of the rain dance; anyone have any ideas for a NO rain dance? My doctor cleared me to fish a month ago and the creeks have been blown out since - and I'm gettin' pretty darned sick of it! I'M READY TO GO FISHIN'!
There's nothing more pathetic than a fishing electron microscope just sitting there ready to tie on a size 56 Nwhat but noooooooo, the creeks are at bloody flood stage!

Seems that it is time to do all the honey-dos from years past and on top of that I am working on a new vest to carry an electron microscope. I might need some input from Krebsie. He's the inventor. I"m thinking of a small pop-out table that would also be back support when carrying. It would have a single leg that could be removed and used as a wading stick. Any input would help and I will share the credit.
