TFF crew, I won't be able to make the Thursday meeting as I have a Scout District meeting that I cannot miss.
Saturday our classes will be in the same location as last year. Come in to Camp Cary, turn right at the 'T', head east and then left around the corner and follow the signs. First class is at 9am. Second class is at 1pm. I GREATLY appreciate any and all who can come out and lend a teaching hand. Please bring any spare outfits you can, vises and tools to teach tying...and I believe Les is still cooking lunch for us. If not then we're welcome to eat with the Scouts in the chowhall (hotdogs).
Any questions, gimme a call at 404-3732 or email me at michaels@wkoa.com or gary.newlon@verizon.net
thanks all!!

Will not be able to make to the meeting Thursday as well. Have scouting stuff to do. Right now it looks like a small bowl of chili will cover the three of us that are eating lunch.
Right now I only know of 3 people that have said they are going to be there for lunch. Gary - RF Rick Me
I plan on cooking, but I need to know how many to plan for. It should be less than $5 a person.

I'm planning on being there as well, but probably just for the morning session followed by a bowl of Les's (soon to be) Famous Chili. If the weather is decent, I might bring my daughter Sophia to show those boys how to cast (or at least make them feel better about their own casting).
Do you know what exactly you need people to bring? Are you set on tying materials/tools/vices? How about the rod/reel numbers?
Pat was talking about being there for the morning as well, but he'll have to confirm.

I am planning on lunch for 10. I ran into Dave McCullough after the meeting last night and i will be making some of the chilli with out any pasta.
I really don't want to debate the definition of chilli, but my chilli has pasta in it, generally.

In Nebraska, we would have called that goulash.
I think it is interesting when they have the chili cooking contests on TV that they are usually cooked sans beans since beans are considered a filler.

Les,
Thanks for making some without pasta. A few weeks ago it wouldn't have been a problem but, I have recently been diagnosed with Celiac, an inability to digest gluten. For some people just picking the crutons off of a salad is a problem.
Again Thanks.
