Hey Thanks everybody! Woke up this morning with a feeling like I was getting ready for a big fishing trip! My tummy is kind of fluttering around a bit! What the heck! Did the rehearsal and the dinner last night and it was beautiful. The pastor, Owen Mason, is an avid outdoors man and has always wanted to learn to fly fish. Guess what we talked about after the dinner! May have a potential member there! So, after 23 years it's time to give away one more of my most precious possessions. 2 down and one to go! Not sure how old dad is going to react, was thinking about giving a BIG war hoop when I hand her over,,,,,,,,,, just to keep from crying! I'm an emotional wreck already and the wedding isn't till 5:00 pm. This is going to be a long day!!! Well it's off to the shower and in to the monkey suit! Have a great everybody. Krebsie

Man I can't believe it. After keeping a fly rod, probably bamboo, for 23 years you're giving it away. Did you get hit on the head by a hammer. That rod has to be you're most prized possession and you have already given two away. The Lords blessings to you and the family today Gary, cry to your hearts content. Looks like the weather will cooperate too.

Gary,
Congratulations to your daughter and new son in-law. I want to wish them all of the best and I am sure all of the club members do also. Just think of all of the great memories that are yet to be made.
Give the bride a big wet kiss for me.

Gary; Congratulations! Just keep telling yourself that you are not losing your daughter; you're gaining a new son. Repeat as often as necessary! Blessings on this day for you and yours. Pat

Gary,
I am reading this at about 6:30 pm, so I imagine the wedding is over and you are now celebrating. Congratulations! I'm sure it was beautiful and did not include a big war whoop!. Your new son-in-law is incredibly blessed to have just acquired such great in-laws.

Whew! We made it! Wedding was beautiful and went off with out any major problems. Kids are off to Colorado to a dude ranch where Nathan worked a few years ago. Dont' know if they will get any fishing done but Nate has fished several of the small rivers around the area that they'll be heading to. I was Mr. Calm and collected until, the fathers were asked to pronounce a Blessing over the kids. We made a circle around them before they were pronounced husband and wife and then it happened. Rapid heart rate, shaky hands, perspiration on the brow, still ok, then my daughter looked at me! I lost it! Was one of the hardest things I've ever done! But one of the most rewarding. The look in their eyes when I finally got the words out was,, ,, ,, no words to describe it! Catching my first Tarpon on a fly rod (which was unbelievable) doesn't even come close to the feelings of joy and happiness that friends and family bring to your life! So get out there and take your family and friends fishing!!!!!!! Thank you for all your thoughts, prayers and kind words, much appreciated! Oh yea, 2 down 1 to go!!!!!!!!!!!!! Krebsie
