Hello everyone! what a cool web-site and forum! My name is Patti and I live in Indianapolis. I am president of Reel Women-Reel Men Fly Fishing club and I have had the pleasure of meeting and fishing with several of you! I want to thank Dustin for inviting me to the forum, it is a great way to communicate with fellow anglers. I just got back from fishing my local pond where the bluegill are hitting top water flies already! I didn't see any bass but "in due time" lol I fished the White River earlier today but unfortunately didn't see a single fish. The water is high and still pretty cold but it was a gorgeous day to be on the river. Hopefully a few more days like today and we should see some fish! in the mean time......the bluegill saved me from a skunk See you on the water! Patti~

Patti - As the board Admin I would like to welcome you to our little piece of the web. I had a great time at the Expo and i think next year I am going encourage kids from my scout troop to attend.
There is a wealth of knoledge and experience on these boards as well as people that are just learning. It is full of people that love to fish. I am sure have delt with these types of folks and their ability to forget the finer details about the fish they have caught. i figure you know how to seperate the wheat from the chaff so to speak.
If you have any questions about the funtionality of the site, just let me know.

Welcome aboard Patty, This is a great opportunity for us to work together, club to club. OH NO! If Radio gets a hold of that sentence we're in trouble. Looking forward to your input and fishing stories on this board. Can't wait to fish with you and your club members again at Terre Haute. Krebsie

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! Its a pleasure to be here and I look forward to getting to know all of you better. Les, I appreciate the kind words about the expo. We hope to improve it year to year and my main focus this year is on conservation and also getting more kids and women involved. We welcome your scout troop to the show and they are admitted free. We also hope you guys might get some kids involved in the "poster contest" It is a great way to initiate conversation about clean rivers and what we can do to help. We can talk more about it when I see you. The entries from this year were amazing! I wish I knew how to post pics in here..lol..I still don't know my way around in this forum but as soon as I figure it out I will share pics with you. Thanks again for the invite...I will make this a regular stop for me so I can see and read what the tippe. guys are up to! Be well, TH~

Radio - why did you go and post that pic of Dustin's embarrassingly small fish? You know he already has a complex.
Patti - glad to have you on board. I know Monica will appreciate another kindred spirit and a little help in the gender equality numbers on board. She is out this week, supposedly on a church mission trip, but happens to be staying about 20 yards from the Holston River in Tennessee and getting some trout fishing in as well.
I enjoyed the Expo as well. This was my first year to attend. Looking forward to next year and meeting you and your RW-RM peeps soon.

Its kinda funny...long ago I gave our club the motto" Uniting Indiana's Fly Fishing Community" and now I think its even more appropriate. Hi Patti, Good to see you here! Glad you are aboard. You have to be careful around here, you never know where or with what fish you will be holding next. Radio has a particular liking for making interesting art. All in good fun of course!
See you tomorrow at the mtg! I'm going fishing afterschool over in Fall Creek Park. I see there is a pond there. Wander if there's any fish in there??
