Does anybody fish Hadley Lake? Is it all private?
I've driven by there a number of times and have never seen anyone fishing there.

It was closed to the public several years ago. To much partying going on and I'm sure there are other reasons. I used to catch giant crappie out in the middle. Don't really know what the status is at the present.

Yeah, that is a great lake for Crappies! I fished it about 20 years ago and dad and I caught about 50 in 2 hours. Haven't been back since. If someone finds access, please let us know!

I will be the first to call you. It was good back then. Suppose there are some giants in there?

What authority closed it to the public? If someone wanted to get access, where is the place to start? City, county, state?

I believe it is private. Would have to look it up in the tax records at the county clerks office.

Anybody have any reason to be at the county clerks office that might want to look it up? I don't even know where it is, but I'm sure some people's work take them there on a regular or semi-regular basis.

County Clerk would be located in the clerks office at the County Court House downtown Lafayette. I'm sure there are several of us that go that way ,but finding the time to look it up is my problem.
