I swung by Knop Lake last night for about an hour or so of fishing. I was fishing the south end and didn't have any boat/pontoon to get to the rest of the lake. I didn't have any luck, but got some casting practice in.
The south end was already growing moss/scum, which will over take it by the end of May. The biggest thing I noticed was the amount of trash that was around the lake. I am going to head back with a garbage bag to clean it up. If you plan on fishing this lake, you might want to bring a trash bag to help keep it clean.
