Hello!
How's everyone this winter? Little about myself:
I'm Kevin, and I'm an addict. It's cold as heck, and I'm still fishing for the smallies that are probably not even eating! I'm a trout and saltwater fly fishermen by nature, but since I'm in IN, I might as well try and expand my horizons!
I can't even explain how glad I was to find out that this site existed, I plan on using it quite a bit now. Hopefully I can make it out to one of your meetings too.
Also, see my post in the Wildcat Creek section!

Hey Kevin, If you are still fishing in the cold, then try for steelhead. Landing one of those rockets will warm you up. This spring the smallmouth in Sugar Creek will make you forget about the cold. Next meeting the 18th at MCL. Enjoy the fishing. Goo to have you on board.

Heh, thanks for the welcome. Glad to see this site is still used often! I haven't ever fished the steelhead runs, but I'd like to try. I'll be doing some reading up on it the next couple weeks. And Krebsie, it isn't sico because I KNOW the fish are there. The one I found had a full belly too, so they must be eating SOMETHING!...just need to figure out what, where, and when!

Kevin,
Welcome to the Tippecanoe FlyFishers. Glad to have you. As far as being a flyfishing addict, welcome to our 12 step program (short about 11 steps).
Don't forget our tying sessions at Sportsman's Warehouse in Lafayette.

Kevin, Welcome. I'm glad to hear that you actually get out there and fish, and not just talk about it! Good Man! Keep it up. The only way to catch fish in winter is to actually be fishing! The Widcat has some very good fishing for bass, rock bass, creek chubs, and carp. All of which willl eat throughout the winter months. You've just got to find the fish that are eating at the time you are on the water. I'm hoping to get out in a couple of weeks during Christmas break.

Welcome form your local friendly board administrator and web guru.
I am glad that you have joined up and I hope that you find the information here useful and the fish stories entertaining.
While the club has been around a while now, these boards have only been up about a year or so. The conversations though, are starting to be posted more frequently.
If you have question just drop me a line.
