I tied these up a while back. I haven't tried the brassies yet, but I managed to catch numerous pond bluegills and sunfish on the the turkey tail nymphs (Pheasant tail nymphs tied with turkey tail fibers instead of pheasant). Anybody want to try some? Note: One of the turkey tails is jacked up...look at the middle one in the left column.

Hey those look great. What size did you tie them? Been fishing the high mountain lakes lately (really high above 10k ft) for brookies those look like they would work nicely if their 18 or less. By the way just a little side note Brook trout are so plentiful in these remote lakes Colorado DNR encourages you to harvest 10 per person under 8" in addition to the 4 over 8". A real plus since their the best tasting of all the trout. (I know I know char )

Barry, the turkey tail nymphs are size 16 and the brassies are 14. I don't think it would be too tough to go to smaller sizes, I would just have to get some smaller beads for brassies.
