being a st joe river valley fly fisher member (based in s.bend area),and being down to see my daughter in lafayette area,I decided to attend your opener at Fairfield Lakes sunday.
Where was your "tent and banner" set up?? I really didn't see any other "flyfisherman" around?? just a lot of bait and bobber people, and "Booyah"bass people throwing heavy equipment.
I really was hoping to share new fly patterns, and fishing locations with your members, but couldn't really identify any of you.
Oh well,maybe next time

What time were you there? I showed up around 10am and there were still some guys out. The tent didn't go up (I believe) on account of the rain earlier that morning. We were all at the lake directly across from the parking lot. I think everyone was gone by 3. Sorry we missed you.

Aww man, I think I saw your back when you were fishing the second lake. I thought I saw a fly fisherman over there but wasn't sure. I think we were all standing in the parking lot at that time. If it was a yellow kayak that was Troutking. I was out with a girl in a canoe in that same lake.
