Just out of curiosity, has anyone ever fished at the grand canyon or heard or know anything about it? I may have a chance to go in two weeks!

The Grand Canyon no, the Colorado river I was fishing Saturday. Of course I was in Hot Sulphur Springs Colorado (about 9000ft above sea level, colder than sh*t). I have fished the Colorado river in Laughlin Nevada about 3 hours from the Grand Canyon caught 2 small trout. That was just below the dam at Bullhead City. The water there still runs cold dosen't get much over 60F.

I may be heading out that way too in Feb. I have fished the Colorado at Willow Beach about 15 miles downstream of the Hoover Dam. Caught 5 one time, skunked the other. Water is cold and it is big water. There is a fish hatchery there and they release trout on Fridays. The striped bass like that release a lot Talked to a guide today, he recommended Lee's Ferry, but I don't know anything about it. He said it can be pretty cold this time of year.

Did some research on Lee's Ferry, excellent fishing... Trout up to twenty pounds, yes pounds not inches!
