Hey guys,
It's been a while ain't it? Hope all is doing well and catching fish regularly. I've been carrying my fly rod and have tried to use it for barramundi, snakeheads, alligator gar, and amazon red tail catfish. Still no picture to show you but it's been a blast anyways. Peacock bass is my next agenda and hopefully I'll have something to show you guys. Take care now.

Good to hear from you Tap. I almost mailed you an invoice this year:) Not much fishing but a whole lot of workin on my end. We'll see if we can change that. You have to catch a monster with a fly rod! Do you need any specific flies? I'm sure the guys would be happy to send you a care package to see some Thailand fish pictures. Tied this Mike Schmidt Voodoo Squatch this morning. size one in the back and a two ott in the front.

Sweet looking fly. Been gathering info about which fly to use from random fly fishermen around here. It is true, fly fishermen are way more friendlier than other types of anglers. I'm trying to get back into fly tying. You think people look at you weird when you fly fish at Fairfield. People here actually laugh out loud when they see a fly rod.

Hey Tap just remember "We mock what we don't understand". I once was bass fishing with a cousin in Florida pulled out my fly rod and he started laughing at me (rare for him) until a 6 and 1/2 pound large mouth devoured my deer hair popper. He grabbed it from me and did the same about a minute later. Dang near had to fight him for it the rest of the day. Moral, be careful who you show how to fly fish addictions run deep.
Good to hear from you.
