I love fly fishing for panfish and small bass. Would any of you know a really great fly for panfish in the #8-12 size range? I can tie my own fly's and I'm an okay tier, only that I don't have a lot of experience with palmering hackle. I know a few good patterns like the Krebs Poppers, but I'm still open to new ideas all the time. Thanks for the advice!

I use one I learned down in Georgia called the Bluegill Buster. I'll see if I can find some pictures of ones I've tied or I'll do a video of a tie. They're super easy and really effective.

I've used an Adams, Partridge and Orange, and Hare's ear. For big bluegill I've had pretty good luck with a Panfish Charlie.
And there is always the Bully Spider.
