I am back from Alabama and most likely won't be going back until the beginning of October. I am on vacation the week of the 25th and heading to Ludington. I will be back on the 27th and free the 28th on.
I have no chainsaw, but I'm willing to bust my butt for a private access spot. I love launching at her place

Thanks to All of you who have volunteered your time and equipment. I will be taking a look at the tree tomorrow and talking with Marleen to schedule a time to work on it. Will Post some dates and times after we talk. I understand how impossible it would be to pick a time and date for everyone to be able to do this but I'll try to work with a date that accommodate as many as possible. Thanks again everyone.

Well, fellers,, Looks like this one might just have to stay where it's at. It's fallen from the top of the bank towards the river, and directly down stream. One of the main limbs is stuck in the bank propping the tree up about 6 ft in the air. Don and I agree that this one is dangerous so, what we talked to Marleen about is simply cutting the prop out and leaving the tree where it's at. Don and I will represent, and head up some time this week after work and make a cut or two on that one limb. Marleen was very grateful for all of you who volunteered, but we agreed that this one is a little to dangerous to try to use as fire wood. Just an Idea,,,,, Anyone know where we can get a truck load or two, of split wood to donate to Marleen as a thank you for letting us use her property?
