There was a short article in the Eastern Fly Fishing mag. about fishing the Greene-Sullivan region in southern Indiana. If anyone hasn't been down there it is worth the trip. Soooooooooooooo many pits and big fish too. The state record largemouth came from the area.

The Indiana State record largemouth came from that area also. I think this would be a great trip for club members to do. I have caught giant bluegills from the strips. It does help if you have someone from the area to show you were to fish because there are so many pits you can waste time fishing pits that are not real productive and you can get turned around until you hear a banjo playing. A kayak or float tube is a must for long rodders.
