Thinking of trying the Dam of Morse lake for some white bass. I am going in the morning depending on the weather. If you want to join me come on out. I drive a blue Kia Spectra 5.

Well I tried the tail waters this morning. Thought it was going to be a good day of fishing but was slow. I got one LMB about 4 inches in length, 1 Horned Creek Chub about 7 inches, and 1 White Bass about 8 or 9 inches. The water was still up some with a steady flow over the spillway. There where a lot of minnows busting the surface and I could see some flashes from crappie and whites but they did not want my fly. I left to go fish familiar water at the ponds where I could site fish bedding gills and bass. Turned out to be a good move. Got around 30 gills and 7 bass all released in about 1 hr.

Great Day then! I went up to Miller to see family and we decided not to fish the tribs...cold front, windy, wet. Glad we didn't really. Glad you ended the day with some nice catches tho! Keep it up!
