I was wondering if any one here is any good at working with corian? I have a piece I use to mount my Nor-Vise to and would like to improve it to a tying station. I have seen some neat tying stations at shows and would like to be along the same class. If I remember correctly some one from this site had a TV try tying station at the first Indy Fly Show. Let me know if you can help.

I believe the station you are thinking about was made by Greg Jones. But it has been sometime since he has been involved with a club function.

Does any one here do any machining work? I am looking to have a brass socket made. I found tyerstoolshop.com/benchcraft-demo-tying-station.html which has some of what I am looking for but he has not returned any emails since the first one. I need to be able to screw it down from underneath. I use a Nor-Vise for fly tying but I only have one auto bobbin. This will enable me to use regular bobbins with a cradle. Let me know if any one can help and how much. I know peak has a riser that takes a 3/8 inch shaft but utilizes a set screw from the side to secure to base which will not work for my set up. Thanks
