TFF-ers,
This coming Saturday (April 16th), I will be teaching Fly Fishing Merit Badge to two classes at Camp Cary. First class is 9am til noon. Second class is 1pm-4pm.
Ciriculum includes history, terminology, varieties of flies, lines, equipment, knots. We will also be teaching two flies if possible (wooly bugger and EHcaddis). Last section is casting.
As in the past, lots of members have come out to help and give hands-on instruction. If you can assist, come to Camp Cary Saturday morning and look for the TFF signs. I'll have them posted. We'll be in a lodge west of the parking lot this year.
Please bring any tying gear you have (vises, tools, bugger and caddis makings) as well as rods, reels and lines (3wt-8wt).
If you can, gimme a shout and let me know if you're coming. Lunch should be provided.

Sorry guys but I'm not going to be able to make it! For anyone who is on the fence about weather or not to go! My suggestion would be GO! There's nothing like watching a kids light bulb come on when he sees something new and exciting! You will have an incredible day, and if not, it's you're own fault! Krebsie

Sorry so late getting thank-you's out...just back from a vacation road trip. Thanks Dave, Phinder and Jerry for helping out! Had 3 students first class and 6 students second class. We tied two flies each class and practiced casting in the wind and rain...but looks like we sparked the fires in all our students. Thanks for all guys! I appreciate your time and expertise! rf
