Dave Hosler has donated his boat trailer to TFF. Thanks Dave! We will be remodeling it to hold 4 canoes. Got started last week and calculated the load for the axil and the hitch and discovered we need about 3 more ft of the center beam to work for a 16' canoe. Does anyone out there have either an old boat trailer we could scavange parts off of or a 3' piece of 3" square X 3/16 thick piece of steal we could use for an extension?

I might take it. Seaworthy? Clean skuppers? Square by the mast? Member FDIC? Equal housing lender?

It's pondworthy and Tippecanoe worthy when it's not too low. The beam is a bit narrow, but it works. I took it to a reservoir once, the one Krebs has family on. Not smart with a trolling motor and the jerks with speedboats who try to swamp you.

I'll be able to spend more time checking around with people I know when things slow down. Shouldn't be hauling many canoes right now.
