The camping trip is this weekend and it's shaping up to be an awesome trip. I fishing the Dowagiac today with Phishingincident and his dad and we saw quite a few fish. Lets all pray for a little rain before the weekend. Here's a taste of whats in store. If you are interested in this trip contact me and I will fill you in.

There is a red of polished gravel right in front of me and a female salmon swam within four feet of me. You can't see her in the video but she moved into the shadow on the far side of the river. The video gives you an idea of how fast the water is.

Just checked the weather and it's looking pretty nice. Lows of high 40s at night while we're there. Mid 60s for highs during the day. I'm getting excited. Just worried I'll be short flies. Time to get my butt tying.

I think you can specify the start date. However, an annual out of state license is not that expensive and you might want to come back after this weekend:)

Don't forget that you also have to purchase a sportsmans card. No big deal but it's another, I think $5.00. It's a life time thing but you have to have the card with you. So if you already have one don't forget to bring it with you!

Well, you never know...I have fallen out of a canoe on my last two trips so fast water should prove to be quite interesting. I promise, if I fall in again, I will yell "This one's for you, Gary!" gurgle, gurgle, gurgle.
