We had a great turn out despite the rain and cold today. Several teams floated the Wildcat. One team floated the Tippy and several teams waded the Wildcat and the Wabash rivers. Prizes awarded in no particular order were. Biggest Trash Fish Category award winner Krebsie with a 29" silver carp. Ewwwwwww stinky. Thank Don for recycling last years trash fish award. Largest Bass Category award winner BarryL with a 13" smallmouth. Here's your trout thermometer. Biggest Panfish Category award winner biggiedan with two 10" crappie. Most total inches Bass Category Team winners Radioflyer and BarryL with 107.5 total inches! Most total inches Panfish Category Team winners Krebsie and Don W with 26.5 total inches! The last category was an impromptu award called the most unloved category. First place goes to BarryL for the smallest fish caught a 1.5 inch smallmouth. And here's BarryL accepting his award with a mouth full of burger. Mmmff And the second First place award for most unloved goes to Troutcharmer for getting skunked. Here's your fishtail fly swatter. A big thanks to Radio for cooking the fud. BarryL for bringing those potatoes and dessert. Dave138 for picking up the great prizes and bringing your grill. Tap for making up those great award certificates and lastly all the club members who came out and participated. I had a great time today and look forward to next years tournament.

Organizing one of these outings takes a lot of effort and planning by lots of different people. All of which I would like to say "THANK YOU" so much for your efforts and participation! Don, Dave and I fished a stretch of the Tippe. that we had never had access to before and because of the tournament we now have access to this great fishery. I had a blast! From fishing, to exploring, to watching Don fall out of the boat, without getting hurt, ha ha ha! And especially the cookout and listening to all the stories from the day. We even had club members who weren't able to fish come and share the evening with us at the cook out! I'm telling you, WE have a GREAT bunch of people in this club!! Thanks Everyone for such a great day! Krebsie

Sorry to jump in here a little late but hey I couldn't make this last year but I won't miss the next one! What a great way to spend time with club members. Thanks Radio for a very good day on the water look forward to many more. Did some one say maybe two tournaments next year? How about an invitational? We have some great water to offer right here in Tippecanoe county and it would be a big plus in promoting our club. If we get the support from club members like we did this year it could happen.
