So, a freind of mine and his were in town for the football game and to visit his folks and we decided to go fishing.
This was my first time trying out my new waders and I figured it was an ok idea since it wouldn't be too cold.
He is a spin caster guy. I used my fly rod since everything was out from the weekend before and knowing that my spinn casting rigs need some work.
I was not aware of teh importance of gloves while fly fishing in cold water. I lasted a bit over an hour before I had to throw in the towel.
One of them caught a nice largemouth before I left. However I decided to give the fish a chance to let me catch them when I come back with the appropriate gear.
