OK here are the long awaited instructions on tying the flashy pike streamer. Instructions and pics on the way Below are the materials needed Step one: Step Two: Attach the tail. About 1 1/2 time the length of the hook You can either cut off the extra or tie it back over itself. Step Three: Cut three equal sections of flash. Two will be the same color. Step Four: of the two sections of flash that are the same color cut 1/3 off and keep it. Then cut the single section in half. You should end up with two sections of each; 2/3. 1/2, 1/3 Step Five: Create a dubbing loop and stack one section of each of the piles of flash. wax will help keep the flash in place. Step Six: Spin. Try to keep things as tangle free as possible. Step Seven: Wrap. Keep the flash going back as you wrap. Step Eight: Wrap to push the flash back. Tie a couple knots and add some head cement. Step Nine: Create another dubbing loop and load it with the rest of the flash as shown. Step Ten: Wrap Step Eleven: Finish the wraping and wrap to force flash back. Trim loose strnds of flash - Finished Product top view

Les Awesome job dude!! Do me a favor, lay out the flies you tied down at the indy show, and then this one. You've come a long way baby!!!! I'm gona use this on some of my salt water flies. I even thought about doing this with some other types of materials like Puglisi fibers... That might be pretty cool! Keep up the good work Les! OH yea, great pics to! Krebsie

Thanks for the kind words. It can easily be made bigger if you had a longer hook. I have not tried a whole lot smaller. However I am thinking if I did one white and silver the was smaller I think it could be good for bass or crappie. What do ya think?
