Hey guys. I am new to the whole fly fishing scene. I decided to stop by the TFF clinic today and had a great time. ;D It was nice to meet some great people with interest in fishing! Now i need to figure out how to make cash magically appear in my wallet so i can buy a fly rod and reel. the addiction grows....

Glad U had a great time. The members of this club are some of the finest around and will be happy to help in your choice of gear. Before the magic of the appearing money comes along, I have a way of making it disappear, anytime you would like to go fishing and I have the time, I have extra rods you can use. I'm sure the same would go for the other members. Hope 2 c u at the next function.

Dan / Tap Was great to have you guys at the casting clinic. It's always a joy to see someone show so much interest in fly fishing. You are a natural at casting and I'm sure in a very short time you will be as much a fly fishing junkie as the rest of us have become. Looking forward to getting to know you and Tap better. Hope to fish with you guys sometime soon. If you need equipment just ask! There are plenty of folks in this club who wouldn't even hesitate to loan you whatever you need to get started, that's just how this group operates! Some of the finest people you'll ever meet! Welcome aboard! Krebsie

Be warned you are talking with a bunch of fisherman and while they are a great bunch of guys and will let you barrow gear and will share fishing locations and tips with you, there stories might be stretched a bit.
Just as an example. I had about a 2 pound bass on Saturday morning before the clinic. It broke my line. But before it did I was able to get it up to the surface for Krebs to get a good look at it. He estimated it at 2 pounds. By the time we talke dto the 2nd person after coming in for the clinic, Gary was telling about my bass and it had already gained a pound.
Seriously though the club has tought me how to cast and tie in a short time. The guys have a wealth of information.
I am the VP of IT for the club, which makes me the head message board admin. if you have questions or concerns just let me know and I will help you out.

Dan and I loves to stretch our stories but mainly because we don't have a clue how heavy a fish really is. It got so bad we had to buy a scale!
