I was looking at my calendar and it appears that I have an opening on Sat. May 2. Hoping to go up to Norway Dam and fish for carp. Let me know if anyone is interested. We could car pool from Lafayette.

In Norway, were else. It is the dam that make Lake Shafer. You need to go through Monticello to get there. Goolge Earth and you can see it.

Hey Teach,
I may be able to make that. I've caught carp on a flyrod but not on purpose. It's something I have been wanting to do for awhile.
What flies do think will be good to take. Need to make sure I have enough.

Just as an FYI, I think there is an event that Saturday that involves Boy Scouts and fishing at Camp Buffalo. Not sure if anyone had signed up to be involved with that or not, but wanted to make sure I threw it out there.

You dog,
Pack a day early, what great practice. That way you can tell your guide to find you some bones, you'd be ready.

I checked the calendar, but I totally forgot about the Scouts thing with Les. Thanks Trent. I'll ask Les what kind of help he needs. We may have to put this trip on hold. I'll let you know.
Norway Dam is a great place to fish, and I believe that there are more fishing opportunities there than at the Oakdale dam. Check it out on Google Earth.
