Radio,
I believe the Sage that is pictured belongs to Dave Stallard. It's a 3 wt RPL.
The bamboo is mine. That's the rod I purchased at the antique store for $35 and had reconditioned for $200. They even threw in an extra tip. It's a 3 piece 5 wt, 8 1/2 ft long.
The rod directly below the Sage is mine, It's an 8 ft Gander Mountain, Guide Series Plateau, 4 wt. It's without a doubt my most used rod.
The other rod pictured is mine also. It's a 5 wt St. Croix Avid. It's the previous generation rod, before they screwed up the blank.

I've got a Sage 5wt VPS, basically a re-issue of the RPL taper. Wish I could find a 7wt 4pc VPS...I'd buy it...sweet rod!
Can't do the boo though! Too slow for my taste.
...and you're right, St. Croix did really screw up the Avid blank this round. I'm a pretty loyal St. Croix fan and have about everything they've ever produced except the 'new' Legend Elite. Got four of the old brown blank Legend Elites (bought a couple, built a couple) and love them!

I own a 9'- 7 wt. Sage SLT. It is without a doubt the best rod I own. The action on that rod is unbeatable, for my taste. Sage rods are expensive, but you get what you pay for.
