Les,
An excellent site is flyanglersonline.com. Click on Fly Tying tab on the left side of the page and you have everything from beginners to full dress salmon flies.

I'm sure there are a lot of great sites and boards out there. I sometimes check out this one even though I have yet to tie my first fly. It's not so much a "how to" as an information exchange though. outdoorsbest.zeroforum.com/zeroforum?id=68

Search for Charlie Craven's Flybox. Great site with instructions, videos and more. Charlie Craven is one of my tying heros and the site is excellent!

Wow, Hey fellas! There is a truly awesome sight for beginners wanting to learn how to tie flies. www.flyfishohio.com Go to adventures in fly tying and there are videos of how to tie some very popular and easy patterns! This is the best resource I've seen on the web.
