On Sat. August 4th, Trout king, Fish releaser and I were able to fish a small farm pond in Warren Co. off the grid. It didn't take long to find a few nice bass hanging out in the edges of the moss and exploit their greed for an easy meal. Their position was betrayed by the waves and broken water produced as they were chasing things (mainly bluegill and small frogs) in the moss and weeds that dominated one end of the pond. Soon our poppers were cast into the fiesta and all hell broke loose. Now that is what I call exciting. Trout king seemed to have a great time as his big smile never left his face. Well, I don't think I've ever seen this man without a smile. I had the privilage to guide him to a few fish... This fish, probably the largest of the day exploded on a white popper cast near an emerging stick and aerator. It was an awesome sight! Fish releaser, sorry, I didn't get any pics of you, but of course you catch more big bass than any man I've ever seen. Love you Dad!! I had a blast fishing with these fine gentlemen this morning. Thank you so much for the memories. We'll have to do it again, soon. Reel T.

Hey Pilot - Let's try to plan something soon. I start school in one week. So, my time will be limited. But I'm always ready!
