I made a new gig dryer. I used my ARD and the grey foam from a round 4" dia. shipping container that came from Cabela's for rods. It is about a 4" x 4" with slit on one side. Hollow on the inside about 1 and 15/16ths. I found out it fits the outer size diameter of the 3 rubber bands on front adjuster perfectly. I just slipped it on without making any to fit the inside core adjustment aka dowel rod etc. I just tapped the slit shut. So far today I have dried jig heads, flies, poppers and such. Work great.

If necessity is the mother of invention, then the father is a lazy man. Ponder that! That's what a professor told us in a class I had once.

I love it when you can find a cheap, simple solution to a problem.
