Greg, my son-in-law and I, after a slow day on the Wildcat had just a couple of hours to fish last night so up on the Tippy we went. We waded from SR18 down stream about a 1/4 mi water was very low. It started off slow with a few short hits here and there and one blue gill. Then about 6:30 we switched, at Kreb's suggestion, to top water. Greg with a yellow popper and I with a black and white gurgler. Things heated up for about 30 min. with a few nice smallies then stopped. Gregg was very impressed with the river and would like to do a float trip when he comes back next time from Colorado.

Awesome Barry, Glad that worked out for you and your son-in-law. It kind of stinks when you take a guest smallie fishing and they don't hook up with one!
