Hey Guys, Sorry, my summer has been full of travel and fun, not all fishing, but some here and there. These are some fish from my trip to Boston on Tuesday, Aug. 3rd. I went out with a friend who has a beautiful boat and we chased the birds around, and found the fish. The stripers were busting baitfish at the surface and we took every advantage of the situation. Unfortunately, these can't count as on the fly. I had to use conventional spinning gear as the wind and waves were tough to handle. But, I thought you'd enjoy the pictures. It was great! Maybe next time I go out there it will be more calm... and I can pull out the 9 wt. These fish were between 25 and 30 inches and weighed between 8 and 10 lbs. They fought like a train! I also hooked a huge bluefish around 30 inches, but we didn't get a picture of that thing because it was so mean! Marc didn't want that thing on his boat and I didn't blame him. Have a great day!

Nice fish Teach! That is one huge smile on your face. I can't believe you picked up a spinning rod! Nice to have you back home but sorry your summer vacation is over. We have to head to MI for salmon and steelhead in September and October.
