If you have a Yahoo email account you can upload 100MB per month of pictures and or video for free using Flickr. www.flickr.com/ All you need to do is log in using your Yahoo email address and password. You might need to register but you will use your Yahoo email address to log in.
Step 1.
After I log in this is what my screen looks like. I have my mouse pointer over the "Upload Photos & Video" link and it is highlighted blue in the upper right portion of the screen. Click on "Upload Photos & Video"
Step 2.
After clicking "Upload Photos & Video" this is what my screen looks like.
Step 3.
When I click on "Choose Photos and video" a new window opens asking me what files I would like to upload. This is what it looks like. I have highlighted the TFFlogo.jpg file. You can upload multiple files at a time but in this example I am uploading one file.
Step 4.
After I click the open button or click on the picture I want to upload this is what my screen looks like. Next click the "Upload Photos and Video" button in the lower left corner.
Step 5.
As the photo is uploading this is what my screen looks like. The file name should be TFFlogo.bmp but I used a different upload as an example.
Step 6.
After the photo uploads this is what my screen looks like. Click on the the "You" button towards the upper left and it will take you to all your photos.
Step 7.
This what my screen looks like after I click on the "You" button. Next I click on the TFFlogo picture.
Step 8.
After clicking on the TFFlogo photo that I want to add to my forum post this is what my screen looks like.
Step 9.
Next I will click the "All Sizes" button and it will take me to a page that gives me the option of selecting different size photos and getting the URL link that you need to post the picture.
Step 10.
After I have selected the size of the photo I want to post in a forum thread I need to highlight the URL link to that photo. I post a maximum picture size of 800x600. I had some complaints when I used pictures larger than that. Towards the bottom of the page I want to highlight the link under "2. Grab the photo's URL:" This is what it looks like.
Step 11.
Once I have the url link to the photo I want to post in a forum thread this is how you post an image. Click on the picture button in the "Add Tags:" column on the TFF forum web site. It looks like a picture frame and it's just to the right of the earth or globe looking button. It will place two img text in brackets in the body of your post.
Step 12.
Paste the url link to the photo you want to post in between the brackets. You can hit preview to see what it will look like.
This is what the preview page looks like. It will show you what your forum post will look like when you hit "Post Message".
There you have it. I will be posting several methods of uploading images with other image hosting sites so bear with me. If you still have questions about Flickr send me a PM.
