I caught this beautiful brown trout when on my birthday trip with my husband back in September. It was a spectacular time! Caught it on a hopper - the fish rose from the bottom of a pool just off a riffle and attacked the fly. Quite a fun catch and landing for me! I MAY have screamed and danced a little. Monica p.s. I think I posted the picture. If it's not here, I'll try again later. Attachments:

Monica;
That's a dandy fish! I'm betting you DID scream AND dance more than just a little. That's okay though; a fish like that deserves a little celebration.

Monica Congratulations! Your smile tells it all. Hope that's just a start for you catching big fish in the future!

Radio - Those are great - a little frightening to be more precise!!! And thanks for your comments Pat and Gary. I really like catching big fish (having vast experience now (hahahaha)), BUT catching any size still makes me smile - sometimes even laugh (you should see some that I caught on the Tennessee River last Janaury). It is always such thrill.
