There, those look a little better.
It was no trick at all to photoshop those trout into the pics you sent me of the empty nets. I kept them on the small side to increase believability.

I think it is an amazing river system. It has it all. I love to go there.
These pic's are from the smaller north and south branches (around Grayling). The main stem, closer to Mio, is MUCH bigger and so are the trout! You can wade or float, fish for brownies or brookies. Go for trophies or "average" (I've never seen an average trout. They are all great) trout - all without leaving the Au Sable system.
My ONLY complaint with this river system is the amount of canoers/kayakers that float it. The locals call it the summer "aluminum hatch - the only hatch that never fails!"
