This early in the season, I find myself able to cast in the front yard for about 20-30 minutes before my shoulder falls off. Now's the time to get out and start yardcasting a few minutes each evening to prep for upcoming season. Don't overdo it...just 20 minutes at a time is fine, depending on the weight rod you're using.

Good advise rf. So many times I want to get out on the water that I do not have as good as time because my casting needs work. Better to spend that time in the yard, than the precious time I have to fish.
