Hey-
does anyone have all the details about the casting clinic coming up on 5/9?
I'm guessing this is where we invite people that are interested in learning about FF, but have never had a chance to try it out?
Thanks, T-

In the past a flier has been sent out with a map and directions. I'm sure that Les will get one posted on the site as time allows and is closer to the date. Invite all that you want and we will help them. Afterwords we all fish at the lake and catch several bass. Bring something to eat and drink if you like. There is a shelter also that we sit around and lie about things, oops, I mean tell stories about. It is always a good time as long as Dustin doesn't out fish you again and again and again, but that doesn't have any affect on me. See you there.

Sounds like a great way to get some new folks interested in the sport. I'll have to get my thinking cap on to see who I want to sucker into...I mean, er, introduce to the fine sport we pursue.
P.S. Dustin who? I've completely trained my mind to block out all of his activities. If he's "not really there", he can't outfish me, right?

This is when we all get to harass Dave and get invaluable wisdom from a casting master.
For those of you who don't know, Dave is certified TU casting instructer and this is the time when we all get to have Dave help shake of the rust. Even if you can only make in the morning it's well worth it.

Dave and Krebsie weren't trying to tweak my cast at the boy scout merit badge event, it was more of a full body off restoration. Alas.
What a great resource to offer!

May 9th, right? If all goes well, I and my wife will be chasing brownies and brook trout on one of many Wisconsin Spring Creeks on that day - and for the following week. Well, at least I will be. Cathy is pretty much a fair weather fisher - she usually fishes at least one day with me. She reads/relaxes and cooks most of the rest of the week. She's the perfect vacation partner! I would very much have liked to have taken some tips from Dave and let Dustin outfish me - a full day of fun! Pat

So they have wireless internet at the hospital. Here is the map to Rainey Brook Lake. The TFF banner will be at the entrance.

As far as I know we are. The lake is certainly large enough. I'm taking my pontoon along.
