I spent about 20 minutes this morning meeting/talking with the new fishing manager of the Sportsman's Warehouse. I gather he had talked with Gary this morning and Rick and others recently. Apparently he just placed a major thread order and other odds and ends. He really appreciates the involvement the club and especially Gary/Rick/others have shown and he seems like he really wants to support us and win back our biz. He was also very appreciative of the monthly fly tying group - it seems to be growing and bringing new people into the store.
Anyway, I'm guessing we'll see some new stuff within a week or so. He was a bit vague about anything else other than thread that was ordered but I'm guessing they'll get some other stuff as well.

I had a long talk with Lee from SW this morning. He has spoken with the district purchasing agent for the Laf. store, who was really excited to receive our input into the inventory of the store here. Lee is starting the process of restocking the store with usable products, but this is not an over night kind of thing. He's starting with the thread selection and will proceed from there. I asked him if he knew how to eat an elephant? He said Yes, one bite at a time! Pretty exciting stuff.

Krebsie; He said he'd ordered something like 40 CASES of thread! Few more orders like that and Trent can go back to tying his (nearly) famous "Pigeon on a Stick" fly. Pat
