Sorry didn't get back sooner, my weeks are shot with all kinds of school stuff! Anyway, as for the curved cuts, I just use a razor blade to make the cuts on the foam I want. Until Krebsie showed me his jigs last year, I was primarily making the foam blockhead poppers as seen in Tim Holschlag's book "Smallmouth Fly Fishing". Tim's Blockhead Popper doesn't have much of a curved shape. Every cut is nice and straight. That's why I liked it, cutting the foam at straight lines makes it pretty difficult to screw up. I searched the whole web, and can't find a decent picture of this fly... I'm gonna have to tie that one too.
