Today I went to the Nursing home and signed out my old Dad! He is near 88 years of age. I put him in his wheelchair , gave him his old box of flies and his old Fiberglass Heddon fly Rod. Which he taught me to cast on. We fished a farm pond for 2 hours and Dad did better than myself. Using Caddis Flies in White and Yellow and Gray size 10 Dragon Fly. He got himself one 1 lbs Small Mouth, one 3 lbs Large Mouth. Two 7" Gills and giggling like a 3 year old he landed a 3 inch Gill. I can't help but smile. I did manage to get one 10" Large Mouth on a Red Quill wet. But it sure did me good to see the old man fishing again. See you all at the Auction Ole Coop
PS if you father is still living TAKE HIM FISHING you will always remember it!

Coop, It doesn't get any better than this. What a wonderful memory you have produced for all of us to partake in. My father has passed but although not with a fly rod we went to Minnesota almost every fall. Thanks for the memories.
