If anyone is planning a trip west to fish make sure and check river conditions with a local shop first. A week long forest fire along the lower North fork of the South Platte river has caused considerable staining. This only effects the lower North fork and down stream from the confluence. I'm only posting this as a reminder to anyone traveling to other areas to fish that fires, drought and many other conditions could effect your plans. Be safe, have fun and check first. just another tip from good old uncle Bear
