From a friend of mine who owns a hair boutique...the feather extension fad is dying a fast death! Tensil is taking over...whatever the heck that is. As a tyer it's the best news I've heard in a long time!
(this friend I think is actually miffed that she got stuck with a bunch of feathers at considerable cost than no one wants now. I just shake my head in sympathy and smile big!)

I really enjoyed last night and got a few good pictures that I posted on the tff.org home page. Rstaights wet wing looked really cool. It's going to be a great year!

Hay Radio that is good news. I would cringe every time I saw chicken feathers tied in some girls hair (I've seen what chickens live in? or on? or around? oh! heck man you know sh*t). But alas just like the mullet hair cut some body will keep doing it.

When you think about all those growers who jumped to increased the supply of feathers, if the fad is over, supply and demand would indicate that we're going to have some cheap hackle to tie with when those chickens grow up! That is good news!

I was getting my hair cut a couple of weeks ago and the gal that has been cutting my hair for years also said the fad is dying out.
She told me when she gets tired of looking at feathers that she wasted money on that they were coming my way. ;D
